CHALLENGES
DUE TO THE FULL-SCALE RUSSIAN INVASION, UKRAINE IS NOW THE COUNTRY WITH THE MOST MINED TERRITORY IN THE WORLD
Today, over 6 million hectares of Ukrainian agricultural land have suffered from the war – mined, contaminated, or occupied. According to publicly available information, this statistic has even surpassed Afghanistan and Syria.
Experts estimate that making Ukraine’s territory safe again will take up to 10 years and cost $9-12 billion. These are colossal losses and missed profits for landowners, farmers, and owners of logistics companies.
AND THE AGRO UNITY ASSOCIATION TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR ADDRESSING THESE ISSUES.
